WHY I LOVE THIS RECIPE: What can I say! When I am preparing for the Seder, charoses is almost an afterthought. I hold it in my mind and then begin to make it. There is that moment where I wonder how many apples to how much wine. I finally had my mother-in-law, Phyllis, quantify it for easy reference.
