Spiced Fruit Compote

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

WHY I LOVE THIS RECIPE: My kitchen was filled with the aroma of cinnamon and star anise. The taste was the perfect balance between dried fruit and spices. We paired this course with Biscochos. These desserts topped off our Sephardic dinner that started with Matbucha, followed by a Sephardic challah; a grain and fruit salad, and Dafina. What a meal!
