Matzah Farfel Latkes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup matzah farfel
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

  • Soak matzah farfel in 1/2 cup warm water.
  • Squeeze out warm water; place matzah farfel in a bowl.
  • Add all other ingredients and mix well.
  • Fry in skillet with non-stick spray.
  • Serve with syrup.

Notes

You may want to confirm your matzah farfel and syrup are kosher for Passover.

    I made this. Worked out perfectly. I figured it would be just like Matzoh Brei, but I was looking for the proportions.

    Recipe instructions were perfect as Latkes came out really good. I did do one minor change & that was instead of adding TBS of sugar I added some Fresh Blueberries. Husband loved them!
