Raisin Wine

- 2 lbs dark raisins with seeds, ground in food grinder
- 1½ gal lukewarm water
- 2 lbs sugar
- 6 lemons, juice and rind
- 2 cakes dry yeast, broken into small pieces
Pour ground raisins in large crock or jar.
Add water, sugar, juice & rind from lemons and yeast.
Stir well.
Cover and let sit for 3 weeks, stirring every other day.
Strain and fill jugs to top.
Raisins must be run through a grinder. They are much too "gooey" for a food processor or blender.
