Salmon Croquettes

Make 16 appetizer or 8 main course croquettes

- 1 lb canned salmon
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs, plus more for dipping
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- oil for frying
Drain the salmon and mash it.
Add the egg, breadcrumbs, onions and water. Mix.
Add more breadcrumbs if the batter seems too loose.
Form the mixture into patties.
Dip the patties into breadcrumbs.
Fry the patties until they are brown.
