Salmon Croquettes

Make 16 appetizer or 8 main course croquettes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb canned salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs, plus more for dipping
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup water
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  • Drain the salmon and mash it.
  • Add the egg, breadcrumbs, onions and water. Mix.
  • Add more breadcrumbs if the batter seems too loose.
  • Form the mixture into patties.
  • Dip the patties into breadcrumbs.
  • Fry the patties until they are brown.
