Traditional Vegan Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (I also a few slices of chopped red onion instead of green onions)
  • 2/3 cup plant based vegan mayo
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • t tsp celery or garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cabbage, cut into small pieces
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Mix first six ingredients in a large mixing bowl to make dressing.
  • Stir in cabbage mix and toss to coat.
  • Add salt to taste.

Notes

This is best made well in advance (early in the day) because it allows the flavors to come together.
